Raise Animals 2 Mobile Guide: Touch, Transfers, and Care

Last updated 2026-10-24Unofficial player article

Quick answer

  • Before running: Select maps and an owned animal, then ready up and start.
  • At home: Equip your catch for placement and use the farm interaction shown on screen.

On mobile, Raise Animals 2 has the same catch-and-care goals as the computer version. Your first priority is seeing the next animal and the obstacles around it. Learn the touch interactions during an ordinary run before adding several special-animal objectives to the same attempt.

Set up a readable run

Choose the participating maps and an owned animal in preparation, then mark ready and start. A fast mount can make obstacles harder to read while you are learning. A successful ordinary catch is a better early target than copying an advanced creator's entire loadout.

The gameplay demonstration adjusts the view by pressing and holding the screen. Position the view so the next landing area is visible. Keep your fingers away from the part of the screen where you need to watch an approaching animal, especially when moving between mounts near trees.

Transfer with room to spare

Jump between animals and survive the taming sequence. Do not interpret every failed catch as a touch-control fault. If the jump registered and then you hit a tree, the route caused the failure. Even the demonstrated double jump on special equipment does not make mid-air collisions harmless.

For practice, choose a clear transfer rather than the most distant target you can see. Once the motion feels predictable, work toward a particular biome or animal instead of changing goals during every jump.

Return to your farm after a catch

Owned animals can be used for later rides and raised at home. Equip the one you want to place and use your farm placement interaction. Follow with feeding and a hold interaction for care. Selecting a starting ride earlier in the session does not automatically populate your zoo.

Check produce and tourist money as separate farm tasks. Growth and production also continue offline, so a short mobile session can still finish with useful zoo work. Use the Raise Animals 2 beginner guide if you have not completed that full loop yet.
