Raise Animals 2 Play Area: Run Setup and Animal Catches
Quick answer
- Purpose: Use the play area to ride, transfer between animals, and complete catches.
- Afterward: Return to your farm to equip and place an animal you want to raise.
The Raise Animals 2 play area is the moving rodeo side of the game. You prepare a run, ride animals, make transfers, and work toward catches. The farm is where you then raise the animals you own. Keeping those roles separate makes both your preparation and your next task clearer.
Choose a run with a purpose
The setup lets you choose participating maps and an owned starting animal before marking ready. Use those choices to support a particular task. If your goal is learning movement, a manageable opening catch is enough. If your goal is a special target, prepare the biome and starting route that target uses.
Savanna, Jungle, and Ocean appear together in the Hydra route. Their special objectives involve different animals, so a random tour through the maps is less focused than knowing which action you intend to complete at each stage.
Movement creates the catch opportunity
Jumping between animals and surviving taming are the central run actions. Think beyond reaching the next mount: you also need room to continue after landing. A tree can end the attempt in mid-air, even when your equipped item allows an extra jump.
For a multi-stage objective, keep an eye on the actual progress counter. Continue the run when it has registered the stage you wanted. Do not reset a useful run just to imitate every detail of a video whose setup and available animals differ from yours.
The run does not replace the zoo
A catch adds an ownership choice. You can use caught animals for later rides, and you can equip them for placement on the farm. Feeding, care, produce, and tourists belong to that home side of the loop.
Before queueing another attempt, decide whether your last catch should be placed or whether your current zoo needs attention. The Raise Animals 2 catching guide covers the complete run-to-farm sequence, and the biome guide connects each demonstrated region with its special animal target.
